PRESS: Producers have some problems with state-led digitalization
MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russian manufacturers face an increasing number of cyber incidents, vulnerabilities of industrial information systems, and the lack of readiness of staff for digital challenges while producers are getting new technological opportunities, business daily Kommersant reported on Monday.
Propelled by the government, digitalization in the industry has many a problem, which were discussed at the Forum Digital Industry 2021 on December 10, the daily reported.
The government approved the strategy of digital transformation of the processing industry by 2030 to reach the national goal of digital maturity of this sector of the economy.
Alexei Berezhnoi, head of monitoring of industry development projects at the Moscow Industrial Development Agency, said a poll showed that among the problems are the lack of a sufficient number of digital transformation consultants, a low level of competence among the personnel to introduce digital technologies, poor awareness about the measures of state support of digital transformation, and the absence of information about available and reliable digital technologies.
